Comments: Dear Pat, Yes I'm old enough to know of a salutation in a letter. I met you twice. The first time was at your killer live record in the village in NYC. That was just to shake your hand. The second time was at the Blue Note with you billed with Larry Coryell. I had a few lessons with Larry. I studied with Harry Leahey in NJ. He also was with Dennis Sandhole. When Harry told me about you I went and bought your albums that were out and the following ones over the years. I got a picture with you and a signed album from the live "tour de force". Chops and knowledge/execution on your level only happen every so often. Harry is gone, Larry is gone and many more are gone. May you live to be 200.
