Comments: Admired Pat’s virtuosity and compositional talent since the 1970s. Saw him perform several times at the Iridium in NYC and was finally lucky enough have a guitar lesson with him at his home in Philly. We spoke of opposites, alternatives and the power of silence. I have never met such a kind, generous, authentic man in my life. God bless you Pat, as you continue to keep on giving so much to so many…

Comments: All things in the manifest world end, and so it was with Pat's physical life. Rather than mourning that loss, I'll take joy in - and have gratitude for - the long-term inspiration he was as a person and player, as well as his status as unsurpassed purveyor of certain core theoretical tools for the guitar. My life and musicianship would not be the same, had he not lived. Thank you Pat!

Comments: I was a fan of Pat's from the first note I heard but I didn't know I was to meet him and he helped me regain my guitar career. In 2015, i had emergency surgery for a subdural hematoma. Relearning how to play was going slow so i contacted Pat who agreed to meet with me when he was playing here.
His advice and help that day and after got me back on track and such a wonderful human being, i'll never forget him.

Comments: Still keeping the warm feelings of meeting Pat in Vienna in 2018 close to my hearts. All the best to his Wife - your Gentleman is greatly missed yet joyfully celebrated still!
Comments: What a beautiful thing that this living tribute is still available! I am also grateful to have seen Pat at the Iridium a few years ago and was able to talk to him briefly. His focus and style had an underlying influence in addition to his amazing guitar playing. His teaching has done the same for me, as I sense that there’s something he alludes to that you have to delve deeper to find. He still directs me down the road.

Comments: Dear Pat, I bought your Nature of Guitar course from True Fire a couple years ago. But I never really had the time to dig in to it. Now I started to re-visit your course and it's mind blowing. It literary change the way I look at the guitar.
Thank you for your music and wisdom. Rest in Heaven Maestro Pat!
