Dear Pat, I hope you are getting better during the last months - I miss you and hope our paths cross again. Years ago I bought a "pat martino songbook" via your Web side .... the possibility to buy a "pat martino songbook Part 2" would be nice, and perhaps signed books, CDs or photos, some merchandise ....
Wish you all the best from heart,
Always with love, felix

Hello, Pat:
I am so fortunate to have been able to see you perform at the Jazz Showcase twice, and I was pleased to have the opportunity to chat with with after the show. Thanks for signing my copy of your autobiography and my Footprints CD. Your story is an inspiring one and I wish you the best despite your health issues. Know that you have a fan who truly enjoys your music and the deep catalogue that you have recorded for us. Blessing to you.

Hi Pat,
I’ve only recently discovered your music, and it’s wonderful. I watched a video of you with Dave Frank “An Evening with Pat Marino” from 2016. I retired back in March and have recently started playing guitar again and taking lessons from a friend, he has that joy that you spoke of in the video with Dave Frank.
I read Miles Davis’s autobiography and got the impression he left Juilliard because it was too confining. It appears to me that those who tread their own path, no matter in music or elsewhere, not only are success but have the joy you speak of.
I had a trumpet teacher who played in a well known symphony orchestra and he could never understand that I had as much joy playing alone in my basement as anywhere.
As a young man I plucked around with the guitar but life, job and family became my priority. Now at 58 I’m playing again, though I may not achieve fame I will have joy. Thanks for the joy.

Hello Mr. Martino, I first met you when my friend and guitarist asked me to drive him to Philly for a lesson at your parents house in the early 80's because he didn't have a car. His name is Dean. I am a drummer myself. But I appreciated your talent then and still do today. The first album I heard was Joyous Lake, so as you can imagine Kenwood really got my attention to. I remember we all went over to Pat's steaks or the other famous one, Gino's maybe? Anyway thanks for sharing your gift with the world and for treating us regular folks ( meaning unknown to the music world ) so kindly. Great memories. God bless and get well, Jon

Happy New Year Pat

I just listened to "Formidable" again. Wonderful, wonderful work. You signed my copy of "Joyous Lake" several years ago at Catalina Bar and Grill. I've listened to the same vinyl copy since it came out! You are the very, very best!

Pat,

When I was about 11 years old my friend's father, a jazz musician in Chicago, gave me a copy of The Visit and said "If you want to learn how to play listen to this guy".

I listen to your playing every day and it has been a constant influence and inspiration to me.

David

Dear Pat,

Thanks for what you are sharing with us. I love to listen to you speaking about music. What you talk about hits me in the soul. It's life. There is no Art without a life lived within it and you hipped me to this. It's how you walk, talk, breath, eat, love and all the other feelings of the moment.

Your words truly changed my trajectory more than your music, which I love like a son loves his father. Please accept all the love and peace I have to offer. Always at your service should you need.

You know I used to be the Maestro (Dennis) soup boy!
